Buying on Nickit

Everything you need to know about finding and buying items on Nickit safely.

How to find items

Nickit makes it easy to discover preloved fashion from independent sellers across the UK and beyond.

• Use the search bar at the top of any page to search by brand, item type, size, or keyword.
• Browse by category (Womenswear, Menswear, Footwear, Vintage, Streetwear, Accessories, Kids) from the navigation bar.
• Filter results by condition, price range, and sort by newest or most popular.
• Visit a seller's profile to browse all their listings at once.
• Save items you love with the heart icon — find them later under Saved Items in your account menu.

How to buy

Purchasing on Nickit is straightforward and secure.

• Click Add to cart on any listing page.
• Review your cart, then proceed to checkout.
• Enter your shipping address and pay securely via Stripe — we accept all major debit and credit cards.
• Once payment is confirmed, the seller is notified and has up to 5 business days to ship your item.
• You'll receive an email confirmation and can track your order under My Orders.

Buyer Protection

Every purchase on Nickit is covered by our Buyer Protection policy. You're protected if:

• Your item never arrives.
• The item is significantly different from what was described in the listing.
• The item arrives damaged.

Making offers

On many listings, you can make an offer to the seller rather than paying the listed price.

• Click Make an offer on the listing page and enter your proposed price.
• The seller has 48 hours to accept or decline — offers expire automatically after this window.
• If the seller counters with a different price, you'll receive a notification to accept or decline their counter.
• Once you both agree on a price, payment is processed and the item is reserved for you.
• Offers are a great way to negotiate on items that have been listed for a while.

Leaving a review

After your order is marked as delivered, you'll be invited to leave a review for the seller. Reviews help the Nickit community make informed buying decisions. Please be honest and fair — reviews cannot be edited once submitted.
